I think I speak for the majority of us when I say, we are thankful for the hard work you put in producing and putting out new content. No apology required.

By the way, the latest Unraveling episode was really good, I didn't realize how close the parallels were between post communist Russia and Weimar Germany, fascinating stuff!

Yeah, one of the best. Daryl’s comparison between Weimar Germany and Russia after the fall of communism is something I’ve briefly thought about before, but I had no idea there was as much to it as Daryl pointed out.

I’ve often wondered how we could have prevented a Putin. It seems like it could have easily been done, but at the time, no one seemed to care. I was living in rural Minnesota at the time and the general consensus was a lack of belief that it really happened, and because of that, we should keep them at arms length and see what happened. Seems like that created the very thing we were worried about.

It's jaw dropping how similar the two situations were and it makes me wonder, when will we reap the whirlwind of this horrible decision.

Hi Mike, which Unraveling episode is that? Do you have a link? I am interested in hearing more about this historical comparison. Thank you!

Unraveling Episode 25: Discipline and Punish

Great high level look at how to exit a conflict to ensure a future conflict using historical cases. I had no idea that we put the screws to Russia like that. Learned something new as always!

Thank you! I downloaded it. Looking forward to listening to it on the mail route tomorrow.

Take as much time as you need dude, I've only just finished the Anti-Humans. Think I need a few days to get over that one.

Yeah, that one is brutal.

Now if we could just get all of the pro-Communism people to listen to it.

As someone who's family is from that region, it was a very difficult listen, but enlightening. Thankfully some of my family made it to the promised land directly prior to the Bolsheviks, Holodomor, and the ensuing inhumanity of Communism. Very few of my remaining family survived that period in the old country.

The most fundamental truths are found in experience. History can teach so much. I totally agree with you Erin.

Speak for yourself Joel.

Daddy paid for his content, Daddy wants his content!

Just givin you a hard time Big D, I’d never tamper with the recipe. I have full faith in your process.

Your commitment to your subs is amazing. At least from me, you could put out your episodes at the frequency of Dan Carlin (although I would want more!) and I’m happy knowing they’re all quality. Thanks for the update.

I've only experienced one migraine in my life, during a marathon session of A Boy and His Blob on NES. It was crippling.

Feel better.
