Are the old episodes limited somehow? I downloaded the entire God's Socialist series and they undownload themselves in a random way. Same for Fear and Loathing.

Check your podcast player settings.
Most have delete played episodes option as default.
Thanks for the impetus to check settings,my player was limited to 10 episodes per sub. Fixed!
